Amaryllis.
This beautiful Amaryllis is in bloom in our kitchen at the moment. The flower is 7 inches across! No scent, but hey, you can’t have everything. There is another bloom behind this one, same size. There’s also two more flower spikes. This was one of my bargain bin, after Christmas buys. I think it was a euro. If looked after proberly Amaryllis can last for many years. After flowering remove the stalk and feed and water the bulb until early Autumn. Then allow the compost to dry out. Keep in a frost free place over Winter and resume watering when new growth appears in early Spring. Repot every 3 years.
What a great pic! The Amaryilis looks so lush and colourful and a real bargain!
